OUR (ADLS) SERVICES

ASSISTANCE WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING

DRESSING

Selecting appropriate clothing, dressing, transfers, mobility, and positioning.

GROOMING

Personal hygiene, hair care, oral care, nail care (excluding diabetic or poor circulation cases), shaving, applying cosmetics and deodorant, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and hearing aids care.

Blood Pressure Checks

Regular blood pressure checks are administered for maintaining cardiovascular health and detecting any potential hypertension issues early on.

BATHING

Starting and finishing a bath or shower, transfers, mobility, positioning, using soap, rinsing, drying, inspecting skin, and applying lotion.

EATING

Assisting with food intake, transfers, mobility, positioning, hand washing, applying orthotics, feeding, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

Assistance and support provided to individuals who may need help with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility

TRANSFERS

Moving from one position to another.

MOBILITY

Assistance with ambulation, including wheelchair use (excluding transportation).

Medication Assistance

Organizing medications, reminding individuals to take their prescribed doses, administering medications if needed, and ensuring adherence to medication schedules.

POSITIONING

Assistance with positioning or turning for care and comfort

TOILETING

Bowel/bladder care, transfers, mobility, positioning, feminine hygiene, toileting equipment/supplies, perineal care, and clothing adjustment.

HomeMaking

Cleaning floors, bathrooms, and kitchens, doing laundry, changing bed linens, dusting, and tidying up common areas. Additionally, homemaking services may involve light meal preparation, grocery shopping, running errands, and providing companionship to individuals who may need assistance with daily tasks.

ADVOCATING

Advocacy services involve representing and supporting individuals or groups to ensure their rights, needs, and interests are protected and promoted.

Midwest Home Healthcare has the ability to provide Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) services with our trained and skilled WOC nurses who play a crucial role in managing patients' complex wound, ostomy, and continence care needs.


We provide expert wound care nursing, which may involve cleaning, dressing changes, and the use of advanced wound care products. We monitor wounds for signs of infection or healing progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.


For patients with ostomies, our WOC nurses assist in managing the stoma and pouching system. We provide education on proper ostomy care techniques, including skin protection, pouch application, and troubleshooting common issues.
